Spenser's Hope donates quilts to the preemies at the Howard County General Hospital NICU in Columbia, Maryland.  

These quilts measure 20 x 24 inches and are all handmade by caring people who want to help those who have to visit the NICU everyday.  They are meant to help sooth not only the preemies, but the parents as well, in a time of extreme stress.  The quilts may seem small, but they are more than big enough to completely cover a preemie.  They are also a great way for the parents to always remember how small their children were when they were born.
